The Rise Up and Walk Center aims to support the skills of people with disabilities (PWDs) and their integration within the community

In 2024 alone, the center implemented the following activities:

  • The center reached a total of 369 PWDs, and 80% of the targeted PWDs have gained life skills that enable their integration.
  • Enhancing the skills of 214 children with learning difficulties, speech, and sensory issues through 6,780 rehabilitation sessions.
  • 129 children received nutritious disability-sensitive food items (mainly gluten-free).
  • Providing prosthetics for 46 individuals with motor disabilities and physical therapy sessions for 309 participants.
  • Distributing 53 white canes to the visually impaired unit and offering vocational training to 35 participants.
  • Involving 450 family members of people with disabilities in the program activities and raising awareness among 298 community members.
